The status of the section where I would like to enlist in is open and there are slots left. I tried to enlist but it put me in the waitlist. Why is this so?

That means that the entire section or a percentage of it has been reserved for a specific batch of students. Try other sections.

I am from batch 2018 (or onwards). I would like to enlist in a course that requires no prerequisite but SAIS is showing that it has a prerequisite based on the old curriculum. Will I be able to enlist?

Yes. You should be able to enlist without any problem. If you can’t, contact the SAIS team: sais.uplosbanos@up.edu.ph.

I have satisfied the prerequisites of the course that I would like to take. I believe that I am eligible to take it but the SAIS System won’t let me.

Contact your College Secretary and ask to verify your records. If you are indeed eligible, ask your College Secretary to raise your concern to the SAIS team.

The course that I would like to take has no prerequisite, but I cannot enlist the course through SAIS.

First, make sure that the reason why you cannot enlist is not any of the following: 1) the section has no more available slots; and 2) it is not your batch’s scheduled day of enlistment. If not because of any of the aforementioned, contact the SAIS team: sais.uplosbanos@up.edu.ph

The course that I would like to take has a COI option. How do I know who the faculty-in-charge is?

E-mail the registration committee handling the course.
